ILMEA Instrumental Audition Workshop 2024

Join the NIU School of Music faculty on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024 for our ILMEA Instrumental Preparation Workshop! You will work with our studio faculty on warm-up techniques, sight reading, ILMEA audition etudes, and more. This event is designed for current Illinois high school students. Jazz ILMEA audition materials will not be covered in this workshop. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. in the School of Music Recital Hall Lobby. 

There is a $20 registration fee due at check-in, payable by cash or check. Checks should be made payable to “NIU School of Music.” Registration deadline is Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2024.
 
Participating studios include:  

Woodwinds: Flute, Oboe, Bassoon, Clarinet, Saxophone 
Brass: Horn, Trumpet, Trombone
Strings: Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass 
Percussion
