NIU Bass Bash 2022

Join NIU School of Music for our Bass Bash Day! This exciting event focuses on working with students who play classical and/or jazz bass. The day will consist of a group warm-up/workshop, ensemble rehearsals and sectionals, a masterclass with Professors Jeremy Attanaseo and Marlene Rosenberg, and will culminate in a group performance at 3:00 p.m. You will also learn more about NIU and the School of Music.  

Check-in begins at 9:30 a.m. in the School of Music Concert Hall Lobby. Group warm-up begins at 10:00 a.m. There is a scheduled lunch break at 12:30 p.m. You are welcome to bring your own lunch or visit any of the surrounding restaurants in DeKalb. 

There is a $20 event registration fee. Please see the form for payment details.

Registration deadline is October 5. 

Please complete all registration form fields that apply. If you are a middle school or high school student, please select "Undergraduate Student" for type of student and complete the following questions to the best of your ability.
