Amy Fahey - Closing the Gap: If not now, when? If not us, who?

NIU Alumna Amy Fahey wants to help more women cross boundaries to business ownership and business leadership. As Chair of the Board of Directors at First Women's Bank, she is putting the problem-solving skills, grit, and determination gained from her NIU foundation and her remarkable career to work. This Wednesday Night Wisdom will feature Amy's journey from Chicago to California to India, from technology to banking to consulting to board leadership, from for-profit to non-profit, and from individual contributor to leader to difference maker for women. She'll discuss why in today's environment, when women-owned business are growing two times faster than the national average and yet only receiving 16% of all conventional business loans, its time to act.
