NIU School of Theatre of Dance Auditions

Please select a date and time below to register for your NIU School of Theatre and Dance Audition.  

• Please allow 20 minutes of time for this audition and interview. 
• Please prepare one monologue, choose a piece you feel comfortable in and that represents you and your personality best. This monologue should not exceed two minutes total. Your monologue should be fully memorized. 
• Please also provide us with an 8x10 photo of yourself on the day of your audition. If you have a Theatrical Resume, we'd love to have one of those, too.

National Unified Audition Dates:

• New York City, Pearl Studios: Saturday, Jan 25
• Chicago, Palmer House Hilton: Monday, Feb 3 and Thursday, Feb 4
• Los Angeles, Westin LAX: Sunday, Feb 12

On Campus Dates:

• January 24, 2025 - 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
• February 28, 2025 - 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
• March 28 - 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
• April 18 - 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
