Early Childhood Access Scholarship Program - NIU Informational Meeting (Virtual)

Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at 5:00 PM until 6:00 PMCentral Standard Time UTC -06:00

Northern Illinois University offers bachelor’s degree completion programs for the early education workforce in Illinois. Students can apply for new scholarship support from the state of Illinois to complete these programs at NIU. This partnership aims to serve the needs of the early childhood workforce and their employers, to advance racial equity, and to streamline, coordinate, and improve the accessibility of degree completion pathways.

You might qualify to have your tuition and fees covered if you choose to pursue one of these two degree paths at NIU:

B.S. in Early Childhood Education — if you're looking to teach PreK-2 in a school setting.

B.S. in Human Development and Family Sciences — Child Development/Early Education emphasis if you're looking to teach/work with infants and young children in a community-based setting.

Please attend this informational event to learn more about this exciting opportunity!
