Campus Tour and Information Sessions
Your visit begins with an engaging 35-minute presentation where you’ll learn all about our admissions process, the student experience that awaits you at NIU, and our comprehensive range of academic colleges and majors. Then, you’ll head off on a 75-minute small-group campus tour led by one of our amazing student tour guides.
To register for a campus tour and information session, simply select a date and time on the calendar below and complete our registration form.
After you register, you'll receive all the details you need to make the most of your visit. Please note that all times are displayed in Central Daylight Time (CDT).
Planning a group visit? Please email us at specialtours@niu.edu to schedule your group. Groups with fewer than 15 guests may be accommodated through our regular campus visits, depending on availability.

Academic College and Program Visits
The day of your campus tour and information session, consider adding a visit to one of our academic programs or colleges. Browse the tabs below to review your options. Please make sure not to schedule a department visit that conflicts with your campus tour. Our campus tour and information session lasts two hours. Please register for your academic college and program visit at least 24 hours in advance to guarantee your spot.
