Our high school clinics are educational, non-competitive events. They give directors and students the chance to showcase their ensembles and share ideas with other musicians, directors and NIU faculty. High school music groups have the opportunity to perform on one of NIU's concert or recital hall stages. They are critiqued by NIU faculty and, for certain events, a guest clinician. Directors receive access to a recording of their ensemble's performance. All events are scheduled in the Music Building.
Be sure to register by the deadline. Faculty will select groups from those received by the registration deadline. We will contact directors chosen to participate by the notification deadline. A registration fee is charged for each ensemble and is due two weeks before the event date.
Please note: Only one ensemble per school, unless space allows.
